TASP is a community addiction support project based in Fettercairn,
Tallaght. TASP provides one to one support, group work, opiate
substitution treatment and counselling to individuals impacted by drug
and alcohol use. TASP also delivers comprehensive family support,
counselling and alternative therapies through its SWAN Family Support
Project.
The TASP team wishes to secure the services of an IACP ACCREDITED
COUNSELLING / PSYCHOTHERAPY SUPERVISOR.
The successful candidate will provide monthly individual supervision
to the TASP therapeutic team and conduct two monthly group supervision
sessions for voluntary counsellors working at SWAN Family Support
Organization. These working arrangements will be as a six month
contract for services and will require flexibility regarding providing
group/individual supervision according to service demand.
REQUIREMENTS OF ROLE.
* Fully accredited supervisor with IACP.
* Fully insured as an independent practitioner.
* Can provide up to date tax clearance information.
* Significant therapeutic experience in counselling individuals with
substance issues.
* A thorough understanding of a Harm Reduction ethos.
* Able to provide individual and group supervision to
counsellors/therapists providing support to adults with substance use
issues and affected family members.
* To act as ?Placement Coordinator? for trainee therapists.
